Slowslowzo is a multi-tasking carer/artist; making art & writing in the fragments of time between looking after her dad; juggling caring, domestic and creative work. The Contortionist, her first solo exhibition of Lino & Riso prints, was shown at the Museum of Chelmsford in 2025.
Slowslowzo makes work concerned with Care, Aftercare and Self-care, and focuses on mental health when making zines to challenge our expectations.
Slowslowzo gained a BA (Hons) in Drawing at Camberwell College of Art (UAL), and is a member of The Hive Studios, Chelmsford.
Slowslowzo has exhibited with the following groups: The Hive Artists Studio, The Agency of Visible Womxn, Fem Ad Lib Kolectiv for C.R.A.S.H.Culture (labofii/ArtsAdmin), SNAG, 73 women, the Shape Arts Open and fans of feminism (London Met).
