About Slowslowzo

Slowslowzo creates textile art, performs poetry & writes/draws/prints zines and has been a community artist. Slowslowzo is a member of The Hive Studios, Chelmsford. Forever scribbling in the margins, slowslowzo gained a BA (Hons) in Drawing at Camberwell College of Art (UAL).

Slowslowzo is a woman in the margins, a multi-tasking carer/artist; making art/writing in the fragments of time between looking after her parents, juggling caring, domestic and creative work. The Contortionist, her first solo exhibition of Lino / Riso prints, was shown at the Museum of Chelmsford in (2025).

I think I should be working when I am creating, and I think about creating when I am working.
