Demonology at the Melting Pot

Demonology
Little me
Demon
Someone other
Than you
An ‘Other’
You can’t recognise
As the same
As you.
Your mind divided
Divided Into demons
And non demons
A divided mind that sees
Only Them demons
And us.

Little me
Someone other
Than you
Another
You can’t recognise
Me
As the same
As you
Your mind divided
This and that
Here and there
Divided into tribes
Divided by appearance
Divided along the lines
Of politics
Do we need to be
divided
By demonology?
And create little demons
To be despised.
Little demons
attacked
And left to rot.

Little Me Demon is scapegoated and demonised by those that do not recognise their humanity. This othering is a distancing and socially isolating practice, and is the first step in the practice of witch hunting.

The appliqued banner is entitled Demonology: for the belief that some individuals should be blamed, shunned, disciplined and punished. Because they are regarded as an Other or another; as them not us. Blamed for being different. Blamed and called divisive by the word twisting witch hunters.

Blamed, shunned, disciplined and punished; little demons are regarded as an Other or another; as them not us. Blamed for being different. Blamed and called divisive, by the word twisting witch-hunter’s.
